Women’s History in Fort Collins

  • This event has passed.

We’re thrilled to present our 6th year of exploring local women’s history at FCMoD – and this year it’s bigger than ever!

Celebrate Women’s History Month by joining the Archive staff Fort Collins Museum of Discovery as we share stories and photographs of notable Fort Collins women. We’ll highlight the paths of many local luminaries for an inspirational evening full of historic images, audio recordings, and fascinating information presented in the immersive OtterBox Digital Dome Theater.

This year will also feature a virtual “walking” tour of historic sites related to Fort Collins women’s history presented by our friends at the City of Fort Collins Historic Preservation Services!

Additionally, representatives from the Poudre River Public Library District, the League of Women Voters of Larimer County, and the Living Her Legacy-Women of Fort Collins organization will be joining us in the Dome mezzanine from 6:30-7:00pm. They’ll be sharing reading lists, resources, and ideas on how you can be involved local women’s stories in the past, present, and future!
