Open Positions

Public Programs Coordinator (Full-time)

The Public Program Coordinator at Fort Collins Museum of Discovery is responsible for the coordination of public programs, including content development, scheduling, and facilitation of educational programs to the general public, for a variety of ages and audiences.

Discovery Camp Coordinator (Full-time)

The Discovery Camp Coordinator at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery is responsible for the coordination of museum educational camps, including content development, scheduling, and implementation of Discovery Camp programs for K-12 youth.

Visitor Experience Team Manager (Full-time)

The Visitor Experience Team Manager guides and shapes the team responsible for creating an exceptional visitor experience, including managing the museum’s Visitor Experience staff, coordinates day-to-day museum floor resource needs, and oversees a responsive and ongoing training program.

Visitor Experience Retail Manager (Full-time)

The Visitor Experience Retail Manager guides and shapes the museum’s retail operations including The Museum Store and The Museum Café. This individual manages the Visitor Experience staff working in the spaces, ensures compliance with required policies, and oversees the creation of merchandising plans.

Discovery Agent (Part-time)

Discovery Agent at FCMoD  greet visitors at all points of entry; assist with admission via member check-in and non member sales; staff our retail operations, including The Museum Café; operate the OtterBox Digital Dome Theater; and serve as hosts for birthday parties, after hours programs and events. This position will generally require 20-27 hours per week, including weekday, evening, and weekend shift assignments.

Discovery Agent (As-needed)

A Discovery Agent at FCMoD creates an environment of welcome and excitement; setting the stage for an exceptional visitor experience. This position will generally require 10-19 hours per week, including weekday, evening, and weekend shift assignments.
