Sonic Spotlight is a music showcase and competition for emerging artists aged 22-under in Larimer and Weld Counties. Brought to you by Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, Bohemian Foundation and 105.5 The Colorado Sound, Sonic Spotlight is now in its fifth year.

Selected artists will get a chance to work with industry experts, connect with creative peers, receive radio airplay, create professional music videos, book live shows, and more. In the Fall, 8 selected artists took over the airwaves on 105.5 The Colorado Sound for the SONIC ROUND on Feb 5th, 2025. Three finalists were then picked by our panel of experts to create new music videos with VIA’s professional production crew. The SPOTLIGHT ROUND, the live final showcase, will take place on March 5th at Washington’s in Fort Collins. Finalists will get a chance to debut their music videos and perform live in front of friends, family, and hundreds of new fans. A panel of music industry professionals will be onsite to determine which which artist is named winner of Sonic Spotlight.
