Ecology Walk with Natural Areas

Time spent in nature is never wasted. Learn a bit about local ecology and enjoy a peaceful walk along the Poudre River, led by Natural Areas Master Naturalists!

Presented by Fort Collins Natural Areas Department. Easy, up to 1 mile. Registration Required. Location: Fort Collins Museum of Discovery. Meet at the Museum entrance.

Masks will be optional for all vaccinated participants and volunteers. We kindly request that unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals wear a mask while indoors or when within 6 feet of anyone not in their household group, including the astronomers. Waivers will be required to be signed either online or in person upon arrival.

If you or anyone in your household is experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19 (cough, difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste/smell, etc.) do not attend this program. Drop in to chat with FCMoD staff about Smithsonian’s Biocube Project, and use a biocube to complete your own biodiversity observation. Contribute to community science by studying and sharing discoveries from habitats around the museum! What will you discover?
