SOLD OUT – Homeschool Day

Calling all elementary homeschool families! Join us at Fort Collins Museum of Discovery for a day of discovery, engagement, and fun. Explore all that the museum has to offer as part of our field trips: Learning Labs, OtterBox Digital Dome Shows, interactive exhibits, and more, exclusively for homeschoolers ages 5-12!

• $15/student ($10/student with membership), which includes general admission, Game Changers special exhibition admission, admission to 1 Dome show of choice*, and admission to 1 Learning Lab of choice.

• 1 chaperone ticket is complimentary per student ticket. $6 per additional chaperone ($4/additional chaperone with membership).

• Siblings Ages 3-5 “tagalong” ticket: $6/sibling ($4/sibling with membership). This ticket includes general admission, Game Changers special exhibition admission, and admission to older sibling’s Dome show of choice.

We strongly encourage chaperones to accompany children for all event components. However, if needed (e.g., chaperone has children of multiple ages), students may attend the Learning Lab portion of the event unaccompanied. Experience the Aurora

Over seven months in the Arctic Circle, our crews captured timelapse images of the Aurora Borealis with high resolution digital SLR cameras outfitted with fisheye lenses. The results are spectacular. For the first time the aurora has been captured as it was meant to be experienced, as a display that covers the entire sky. This immersive show shares the science behind the aurora and tells the story of our quest to find and photograph the aurora for wraparound display in full-dome theaters.
