Virtual Little STEAMers: Songs & Sounds

  • This event has passed.

Sing, dance, and count to the beat! During this class, little ones will learn about the different categories of instruments and what sets them apart. They will be introduced to sound science and basic musical counting through song! Participants will also create their very own instrument.

Through storytime, crafts, and hands-on activities, your preschooler will get to explore the building blocks of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math in this virtual version of Little STEAMers! Designed especially for children 3-5 years old and their caregivers.

Registration closes July 7. Instruction for this program will take place live on Zoom on July 9.All materials and supplies will be available by delivery or pickup before the workshop. Communication regarding delivery or pickup will be sent after registration.

Most Little STEAMers programs require some basic household and craft supplies, in addition to the program materials provided. We recommend that you have scissors, tape, glue, crayons, markers, pencils, and washable paint for your child’s use during the program. You may purchase a Craft Kit with all of these items directly from the Museum by adding “Craft Kit” to your order. The Craft Kit will be delivered or available for pick-up alongside your Little STEAMers program materials.
